Man arrested over collision in South Bar

A WOMAN and child were taken to hospital after a two car traffic collision in South Bar, Banbury, just after 1pm today (Thursday).
It involved a Ford Focus and a BMW 3 series.

A woman and a child in the Focus were taken to hospital with whiplash injuries.

The driver of the BMW made off from the scene.

A 17-year-old male was arrested soon after in Broughton Road.

Horsefair was closed heading towards Bloxham while recovery took place but reopened from 3pm.
