A 28-year-old Banbury man has been arrested for three counts of dangerous driving following a Banbury Guardian story.
The man was arrested today (Wednesday) following a story in last week's paper which revealed that images of a motorcyclist speeding recklessly through Banbury had been posted on video sharing website YouTube.

The video showed a rider performing wheelies and stunts at locations including Southam Road and the Wildmere Industrial Estate.

PC Richard Medway of the Bicester Roads Policing team said: "The public highway is not the sort of place to be trying these dangerous stunts and the rider has put members of the public at risk as well as himself.

"Motorcyclists make up 25 per cent of road fatalities and while other users are responsible for some of these, if riders behave like this that death toll will continue to be as high."

The 28-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with two other incidents of dangerous driving on the A422 between Banbury and Brackley which were reported to police by members of the public.

He has been released on police bail until September 10.
