FIREMEN released a trapped Alsatian after the car it was in crashed on the M40.
The car and the caravan it was towing had overturned on the southbound carriageway between junction 10 at Banbury and 11, Ardley.

No-one was injured but the dog needed to be released by firemen. With the car on its side, the female Alsation was unable to reach the door above its head so a crew member climbed into the vehicle and lifted it out.

Fire engines from Banbury and Bicester were called at 1.43pm. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
