Council upset at flood payout
OXFORDSHIRE County Council has hit out after being awarded £681,000 towards costs for last year's flooding.
The council spent £3.1m during and after the disaster and now plans to take the Government to task.
Cabinet member for finance Cllr Charles Shouler said: "Cheap and cheerful announcements from Government will not buy us off."
