OXFORDSHIRE County Council has reached a key landmark in its battle to cut down on the school run element of rush hour traffic – with the help of determined teachers, parents and pupils at Chipping Norton School.
The school has become the 250th in the county to sign up with the county council to have a School Travel Plan. A total of 73 per cent of schools now have a plan.

A travel plan is a document produced and adopted by a school that identifies the potential for replacing car travel to class with healthy and safe walking, cycling and bus travel.
