BANBURY MP Tony Baldry has decided to stop claiming a second-home allowance following the expenses scandal engulfing Parliament.
It comes as some MPs have come under fire from constituents over their claims.

"Whatever the rules, the controversy over the second homes allowance has reduced the standing of MPs and with it our ability to stand up for our constituents.

"I thus stopped claiming a second homes allowance in May and don't intend ever to claim it again."
