BLUE light services are this evening (Tuesday) tending to an accident near Duns Tew.
One person is reported to have been airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital by the Thames Valley Air Ambulance Service following the collision, which is said to involve three vehicles.

Firefighters from Banbury and Deddington were called to the scene at about 4.15pm and are thought to have been accompanied by police and ambulance crews.

The accident is reported to be about two miles outside of Deddington, en route to Duns Tew on Brickyard Hill on the A4260.

Traffic was being diverted from Deddington towards Hempton, and tailbacks were more than one mile long.

A road closure is in place on the Oxford Road from the North Aston Crossroads to Duns Tew. All road closures are expected to remain for several hours.
