MY NAME is Doug Baty.
We moved to Banbury from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 1938.

I went to Dashwood Road school until 1941 and then to Banbury County School.

I have lived in New Zealand since 1952 and have lost touch with all my old schoolmates.

I was in Banbury several years ago and caught up with Martin Blinkhorn, who sadly died the following year. Some names I remember are Geoff Claridge, Pete Smart, Ted Bryant, Aline Browne and Barbara Wyatt.

If anyone remembers people from that time I would love to hear from them. My e-mail is dbaty@xtra.co.nz
