BANBURYSHIRE GPs will hold the key to the survival of the Horton Hospital's acute services if the Conservatives win next year's election.

THE Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Trust (ORH) and its partners have lost their bid to become an Academic Health Science Centre – a move designed to help bring new treatments directly and more quickly to patients.
