LED Zeppelin singer Robert Plant was among the special guests on stage with Fairport Convention.
He joined the band for their traditional Saturday headline slot as thousands of music lovers crammed into the field to watch.
The festival has been hailed a huge success by organisers and performers alike, despite regular downpours on the final day.
This year's event marked the 30th anniversary of former Fairport singer Sandy Denny's death and a moving tribute was paid to her during the band's set.
