How dare anyone, no matter how high on the executive ladder they might be, have the gall to say the Banbury Guardian and Keep the Horton General have made matters worse by campaigning.

Your correspondent Jenny Jones (Banbury Guardian, May 9 ) must be congratulated on her research into the financial pros and cons arising from moving emergency abdominal surgery to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

We all want the best for the Horton Hospital and we all want the best from local healthcare.
