THE music of top bands The Rolling Stones and Free will be echoing to the rafters at The Mill Theatre on Friday, January 25.

The Spiceball Park, Banbury venue plays host to two local bands, The Stand-in Stones and Freewheelin’.

Between them these two Banbury-based groups will be playing their favourite music as a hugely entertaining demonstration of appreciation for their most admired rock stars.

The Stand in Stones bring the sound and excitement of a live Rolling Stones gig to The Mill stage, playing most of the major hits from their peak in the 60s charts to some of their more modern numbers, including Brown Sugar and Honky Tonk Woman.

Freewheelin’ will be playing the music of the 70s band Free and the musicians do not claim to be a tribute band.

The gig starts at 8.30pm and tickets are £12 or £10 if bought in advance.
