Expert advice for start-up businesses

NEW companies will get free advice from a range of experts under one roof .
Banbury Business Expo, in its second year, is being organised by Cherwell District Council and sponsored by chartered accountants and business advisers Ellacotts LLP.
It will bring start-up companies into contact with local government support organi
sations and businesses consultancy professionals, who will run industry seminars throughout the day.
Attendees at the May event will receive advice on issues ranging from accountancy, legal, marketing and technology. The list of exhibitors on the day will include Ellacotts, Banbury solicitors Spratt Endicott, Business Link, HSBC, North Oxfordshire Enterprise Hub and Oxfordshire Business Enterprises.
The winner of a free prize draw will receive office space at The Colin Sanders Innovation Centre in Mewburn Road, Banbury, to the value of £2,500.
Karen Matthews, business development officer at Cherwell District Council, said: "This event will bring together all the facets of starting a new business under one roof, while providing an exceptional networking platform."
David Saunders, managing partner at Ellacotts in West Bar, Banbury, said: "Starting a new business isn't easy; our aim at Ellacotts is to work closely with start-up companies, helping them to become more successful in achieving their aims, increasing profits and ultimately reaching their full potential.
"We hope to build on the success of last year's seminar in assisting new start-up companies in their pursuit for success."
