Banbury CAB can give you free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information on a wide range of subjects.
Banbury CAB can work with you to sort out any debt worries and claim all the benefits you may be entitled to.

It can help with housing and employment problems, or deal with queries about consumer or tax issues. It can advise on legal matters, answer questions about immigration and it has lots of experience on family and personal matters too.

In addition to its general service, it has specialist advisers who handle benefit, debt, employment and housing cases.

It is a charity, dependent on a workforce of paid staff and trained volunteers. Its funding comes from local councils, the Legal Services Commission and other sources.

It speaks up for changes in social policies: from its clients' experiences it can see where services and policies are failing. It calls this work 'campaigning for change'.

It is a member of the national Citizens Advice Service, which provides the extensive information system it uses to advise clients and also sets standards for advice, training, equal opportunities and accessibility in the bureau, and audits us regularly on our performance.

You can find out more about the Citizens Advice service's aims and principles and the work of Banbury CAB in its annual report.
