POLICE are planning a significant operation around this year's Bulldog Bash.
Biker Gerry Tobin was shot dead on the M40 motorway in Warwickshire in August last year as he made his way home from the Bash - a motorcycle convention.

This year's event is due to take place at Long Marston airfield from August 7 to August 10.

A large number of officers from Warwickshire and other police forces will be involved in the operation which will include automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) on a number of roads leading to the event and stop and search procedures at two locations near the site.
